The Love Tour Continues
Lindsay Lohan and gal pal Samantha Ronson were spotted yesterday at Larchmont Village in Los Angeles, CA. The super-BFF’s took their adorable canine friend for some window shopping and a casual walk. Lindsay, who just finished filming her new movie Labor Pains, just got a public apology from R&B phenom, Ne-Yo. When asked to collaborate with the starlet on her new album, Ne-Yo was a bit hesitant, to say the least. “Straight up and down I thought it was gonna suck,” the singer-songwriter told E!’s Daily 10. “I was like, Lindsay Lohan are you joking? Are you serious? What the hell am I going to do for Lindsay Lohan?” But the singer soon changed his mind after working with LiLo on her forthcoming track, “Bossy”. “I think the world is gonna be surprised,” he said. “I had to eat my words. I tried to call her and apologize for the assumption.” Well, we’re not sure if Lindsay took Ne-Yo’s call, but I’m sure he left her a very nice voicemail which didn’t exceed the recording time. And Lindsay forgives you for doubting her, Ne-Yo. She really does. So now that everyone’s forgiven, check out more photos of Linds and Sam hanging out with their pup after the jump. Enjoy!

Britney’s Huge Legal Bills
Britney Spears and Kevin Federline’s custody battles may have ended a few weeks ago, but it’s Brit who’ll be dealing with the mounting legal bills. According to the Associated Press, the legal bills submitted on behalf of the two law firms who represented Britney in the custody battle total more than $466,000. That amount is on top of the $250,000 in legal fees for Federline that the singer agreed to pay for. The largest bill comes from attorney Stacy D. Phillips, who says in court filings that she is owed nearly $407,000 for four months worth of work. Attorney Laura Wasser, who took over the case in June and negotiated an agreement which allows the singer more time with her young sons, is seeking $60,000. Wasser worked on the case for nearly two months. Any payments between the parties would have to be approved by a Los Angeles court commissioner, but attorneys representing Britney and dad Jamie Spears claimed last week in court that they intend to contest Stacy D. Phillips’ bill.

Posh Suing Mad Over Diet Pills Story
While someone is trying to figure out a way to get a musical about her hubby going in London, Victoria Beckham is out to sue a magazine. According to recent reports, Vicky is threatening to take legal action against Now Magazine after it claimed that she is taking slimming pills. The magazine published an article suggesting that Posh had her sister Louise get pills from London and take them to Los Angeles for her consumption. In a statement, Vicky’s agent Jo Milloy is insisting that “the accusation is dangerous, defamatory and blatantly untrue.” She continued: “Victoria takes her position as a role model to young women very seriously and is horrified by this hurtful, fabricated story. It is now with her lawyers.” Someone should really do a musical on Vicky instead. She’s so much more dramatic than her hubby.

Magazine Cover: Michael Phelps On SI
The most celebrated Olympian of all time, swimmer Michael Phelps, is the cover boy for Sports Illustrated’s current issue. Michael is sporting all eight of his gold medals around his neck from the Beijing Olympics, just as Mark Spitz did when he won seven golds in the Munich games. Phelps took over Spitz’s record for earning the most gold medals in one Game. He has won sixteen career medals in the Olympics (fourteen of them gold). And according to SI.com, NBC racked up its highest Saturday night rating since 1990 when Michael finally broke Mark’s record by winning his eighth gold. Talk about a phenom! After the Games, Michael’s expected to rake in on endorsement deals. One deal he won’t be making, though, is with Wheaties. Instead of appearing on the Wheaties box, like many past Olympians have done, Michael has decided to go with Kellogs instead. His agent recently told Access Hollywood that he’ll appear on Kellogg’s Corn Flakes and Frosted Flakes cereal boxes beginning in September. Happy Frosted Flakes eating!

David Beckham, The Musical
Who said soccer and song and dance don’t mix? Of course they do, according to Mark Archer, the songwriter who is putting together a musical based on David Beckham. The project’s title is said to be David Beckham - The Theater of Dreams and it will be premiering in London’s West End soon if Archer had his wish. Why oh why would the word want to see a David Beckham musical, you might be wondering. According to Archer, the stage is the perfect place to showcase David’s thirty-three years of achievements. “Beckham’s story is a modern-day fairytale of heroes, villains, love, Manchester United and what it means to lead your country,’’ he explained to the U.K.’s Daily Telegraph. “His rise from obscurity to international stardom, his universally acknowledged gifts as a supreme sportsman, and his Hollywood lifestyle all have the elements of an aspirational fable.” Archer is still in discussion with producers about bringing the project on stage, so there’s nothing confirmed. I guess we’ll just believe it when we see it.
